Americanus

    Rye Blend - R01

A Tale of Two Ryes

Americanus - Latin; 1) adj, From America;

2) Pen name used by Benjamin Franklin

One Rye so malty, it's barely a Rye at all. Soft and sweet, it just wants to cuddle. The problem is that it has little to say. No attitude. Yawn! Another rye has a 95% rye mash bill and screams rye pepper! This one wants to be the The One Rye To Rule Them All. Extreme attitude... but little breadth. Both are good. Neither is great. Marry them together though, and you've got something special. In fact, you've got a world-class Rye Whisky. Lots of intense spices supported by a wonderful round base.

Available in 750 ml.  Bottled at 48% ABV.
